Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead our branch in sales, service, and overall operations. This key role requires strategic leadership direction, ensuring revenue targets are achieved while maintaining financial profitability and excellent customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement efficient processes to reduce costs, increase sales, and improve quality workmanship.
  2. Operational Excellence: Monitor and report on operational activities, costs, and forecast data to drive informed decision-making.
  3. Manage inventory levels to optimize stock control and minimize waste.
  4. Support technical quality management to ensure high-quality installations and accreditation requirements are met.
  5. Oversight of all operations, from sales and service to installation and maintenance, ensuring seamless daily activities.
  6. Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships, enforcing quality standards and regulatory compliance.
  7. Forecast accurate monthly and job-based project revenue and gross profit to inform business decisions.
  8. Participate in yearly budget planning and manage to budget throughout the year.
  9. Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and KPIs to optimize profitability and drive growth.
  10. Foster a culture of safety, integrity, teamwork, and customer-centricity among employees.
  11. Collaborate with the Central Marketing Team to develop innovative sales strategies that surpass targets and expand market reach.
  12. Nurture productive relationships with customers, general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  13. Champion marketing initiatives that elevate our brand and engage our audience.
Requirements
  1. A minimum of 5 years' progressive experience in general management or sales within the business and consumer sectors.
  2. Strong financial acumen and successful budgeting and financial management track record.
  3. Proven leadership, training, and motivation skills with a history of successfully managing high-performing teams.
  4. Demonstrated problem-solving, strategic planning, decision-making, and project management skills.
