We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Human Resources Coordinator to join our dynamic team at HUB International Insurance Brokers. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and coordination of various HR initiatives and projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the delivery of various annual HR cycles, including merit review, performance reviews, goal setting, and bonus administration.
- Maintain the HR calendar of annual events and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Coordinate and process employee events, such as transfers, promotions, changes in hours or work schedule, and offboarding.
- Administer the Leave Management process, including facilitating STD processes and tracking.
- Advise and educate employees on company programs, benefits, and policies.
- Ensure all Human Resource forms, policies, and manuals are up-to-date.
- Lead company-wide HR initiatives, such as Service Awards, Employee of the Year, and Employee Appreciation Day.
- Oversee the HR mailbox and respond to inquiries.
- Enhance and maintain the HR SharePoint page.
- Act as backup for payroll audit and processing.
- Act as backup for HRBPs as required.
- 2+ years of HR experience.
- Knowledge of HR best practices and regulations, including BC Employment Standards Act and Human Rights Legislation.
- Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Insurance industry experience/knowledge is an asset.
- Ability and flexibility to travel to various offices and locations within the lower mainland.
- A reliable team-player.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple priorities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and well-organized.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience with Workday.
