You will work with groups or individuals in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings, promoting health and well-being through recreation and leisure activities.
About YouWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recreation Therapist to join our team. To be successful in this role, you will have a Bachelor of Recreation specializing in Therapeutic Recreation, be certified by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification, and possess BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification. You will also have knowledge and application of Therapeutic Recreation assessments and processes, as well as experience with Responsive Behavior plan development. Competencies in other languages, particularly French, are an asset.
HoursThis is a permanent full-time position, working 75 hours biweekly. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
Compensation and IncentivesThe successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of $33.27 - $42.01 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, and a defined benefit pension plan.
