We are seeking a skilled Pastry Maker to join our team at marché du faubourg Saint-Amable INC. as a key member of our bakery operations.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Production: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Baking and Decorating: Bake mixed dough and batters, prepare special orders, frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Inspection and Maintenance: Inspect kitchen and food service areas, operate machinery, and organize and maintain inventory.
- Sales and Merchandising: Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods.
- Certifications and Licenses: Baker Trade Certification and Baker Red Seal Certificate.
- Physical Abilities: Ability to distinguish between colors, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, handling heavy loads, manual dexterity, repetitive tasks, and standing for extended periods.
- Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, excellent oral communication, judgment, reliability, team player, and patience.
