Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Pastry Maker to join our team at Marché du Faubourg Saint-Amable INC. As a Pastry Maker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of pastries, bread, and desserts according to our recipes and customer orders.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries and feedback.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales and merchandising goals.
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Language: Fluency in French.
- Physical Abilities: Ability to distinguish between colors, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, handling heavy loads, manual dexterity, and standing for extended periods.
