About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Maritime Steamship Assistants Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and supplies within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order Management: Compile and process orders received from customers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our supply chain.
  • Priority Planning: Develop and implement specific plans to prioritize tasks and optimize operational logistics.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee the operational logistics of our organization, including the movement of supplies and materials between departments.
  • Work Order Management: Track and complete work orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordination: Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Supply Chain Management: Monitor and manage the flow of supplies and materials, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our supply chain.
  • Payroll and Timekeeping: Ensure the accuracy of completed time sheets, payroll, and other summaries.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate the traffic flow of supplies and keep track of shipments.
  • Procedure Development: Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures to optimize operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
