We're seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Data Analytics Specialist to join our team at Interac Corp. As a key member of our data science team, you will play a vital role in driving business growth and informing strategic decisions through the analysis of complex data sets.

Your primary responsibility will be to conduct end-to-end analyses that span requirements gathering through the creation of reusable data products. You will proactively identify white space opportunities, quickly assess value and feasibility, and deliver against strategic opportunities through the application of data science and machine learning methods.

In addition, you will develop production-ready code and apply a strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle. You will work with large and complex data sets to solve difficult open-ended problems by applying well-established techniques. Moreover, you will conduct exploratory data analyses to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions and drive outcomes.

You will provide thought leadership on emerging trends and best practices in data analytics and their potential applications to the business. Furthermore, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven insights are incorporated into decision-making processes.

To succeed in this role, you will require a Bachelor's or advanced degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of professional (or post-graduate) experience in data analytics or a related field is also necessary, along with a proven track record of delivering data-driven insights and recommendations.

The ideal candidate will possess solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with a deep understanding of statistical concepts and methods. Additionally, they will have extensive experience with Python, PySpark, and common data science libraries. Strong knowledge accessing and manipulating large amounts of data, across a variety of formats and with a variety of tools, is also essential.

Our salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
