About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analytics Specialist to join our Rider Pricing team at Socotra, Inc.

Job Description

Socotra, Inc. is revolutionizing the transportation industry with its innovative approach to data-driven decision-making. As a Senior Analytics Specialist, you will play a critical role in shaping our products and services by leveraging advanced analytics techniques to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.

You will partner closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, marketers, designers, and operators, to translate data insights into actionable decisions that drive business results.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leveraging data and analytic frameworks to inform business strategy and drive revenue growth
  • Designing and analyzing online experiments to measure the impact of pricing models on rider behavior
  • Developing analytical frameworks to monitor business and product performance, identifying areas for improvement, and providing recommendations for optimization
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement data-driven solutions that meet business objectives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in analytics, statistics, or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering high-impact insights
  • Expertise in data analysis, visualization, and modeling, with experience working with large datasets
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Python, R, or other programming languages, as well as SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including extended health and dental coverage, access to a Health Care Savings Account, and a generous paid time off policy.
