We are seeking a talented and motivated Pharmacy Intern to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As a Pharmacy Intern, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing exceptional customer service and supporting the delivery of high-quality pharmacy services.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduating student to gain hands-on experience in a retail pharmacy setting. As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work closely with our experienced pharmacy team to provide a wide range of services, including medication management, health education, and community outreach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation and dispensing of medications
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Support the delivery of health education programs and community outreach initiatives
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and organized pharmacy environment
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to achieve business objectives and improve patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy
  • Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism
  • Excellent leadership and performance management skills required
  • Proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including experience formulating and executing action plans
  • Strong personal computing skills, as well as knowledge of KROLL Pharmacy Computer system a definite asset
