Pharmacy Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at Shoppers Drug Mart #2201.
Job Summary:The Pharmacy Technical Assistant will provide support to our pharmacists and pharmacy team members in ensuring the accuracy of prescription information, preparing medications for clients, and maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
Responsibilities:- Verify prescription information for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare medications for clients, including counting and labeling
- Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications and answering customer inquiries
- Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, including restocking shelves and cleaning equipment
- Perform other tasks as assigned by pharmacists or pharmacy managers
- 3 years of experience in a pharmacy setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
