Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the New Hamburg area. As a member of our nursing department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse with RhynoCare, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing Nursing Care
    • To deliver excellent nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician orders, and resident plans of care.
    • To utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure the delivery of quality care in the assigned home area(s).
  • Resident Admission and Transfer
    • To ensure timely and safe admissions for residents, including comprehensive orientations to the home and its services.
    • To facilitate timely and safe transfers and discharges.
  • Medication Management
    • To ensure the safekeeping and control of medications and narcotics.
    • To follow protocols on all assigned shifts.
  • Nursing Assessment and Planning
    • To assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.
Requirements

To be successful as a Registered Nurse with RhynoCare, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent degree.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • A valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • The ability to work effectively with others in a compassionate and supportive manner.
  • A respect for each resident's autonomy and the right to share in decisions about their care.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and regulations governing long-term care facilities.
  • Medical clearance, including TB tests.
  • Vulnerable Sector Police Check and/or Adult Abuse Registry Check.
  • A clear Criminal Record check.
What We Offer

RhynoCare offers a competitive salary of $ $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, opportunities for professional growth and development, and a supportive work environment.
