Job Description



We are seeking an experienced Air Quality and Emissions Expert to join our team in Calgary, Alberta. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing all aspects of our emissions regulatory compliance for clients across various industries.



The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of federal, provincial, and local emissions and air quality regulations. They will be responsible for developing comprehensive emissions compliance programs, leveraging advanced Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) and air quality monitoring technologies.



Responsibilities:



  • Develop and implement cutting-edge strategies to ensure compliance with changing emissions regulations
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in emissions reduction and air quality improvement
  • Prepare and submit detailed emissions reports to clients and regulatory agencies, ensuring transparency and compliance
  • Conduct rigorous emissions verifications, audits, and inspections as part of our ISO 14065 accreditation
  • Collaborate with other departments to support emissions management and ambient air quality monitoring
  • Provide technical guidance and training to staff on emissions regulations and compliance
  • Design Alternative Fugitive Emissions Management Plans (Alt-FEMPs) using a variety of technologies


Required Skills and Qualifications



To succeed in this role, you will need:



Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field


Minimum of 15 years of experience in emissions regulatory compliance, preferably in the oil and gas industry


In-depth knowledge of federal, provincial, and local emissions and air quality regulations


Experience with air quality monitoring and emissions reduction technologies


Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


Excellent written and verbal communication skills
