We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Engineering Team Lead to join our Platform Engineering unit at Coveo. As a key member of our team, you will play a leading role in driving the success of our development teams by providing them with reusable infrastructure, services, software components, and tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a talented team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
    • Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution:
    • Collaborate with the unit's leadership and stakeholders to develop the team's roadmap in alignment with company goals and objectives.
    • Manage the team and projects through Agile practices.
  • Technical Oversight:
    • Oversee technical decisions and work closely with the team to define the right technical approach.
    • Lead the adoption of best practices in Platform Engineering.
  • Software Development:
    • Ensure projects are delivered by providing hands-on help when necessary.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a cloud environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of AWS and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Previous leadership experience in working with DevOps or Cloud Developers.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
What We're Looking For
  • Previously worked as a DevOps or similar role.
  • Strong sense of prioritization and handling conflicts.
  • Ability to remain tempered in complex situations, working on high-visibility projects.
  • Experience in a technical leadership role: mentoring and coaching, hiring, vision and roadmap design, scientific project planning and management, etc.
  • Experience in implementing Agile processes and best practices.
