We are seeking a seasoned Senior Public Affairs Director to join our team at Tbwa Chiat/Day Inc. As a key member of our Public Affairs and Communications team, you will play a critical role in shaping our clients' public policy and communications strategies.

About the Role:
  • Provide senior-level public affairs counsel to our clients, leveraging your expertise in public policy and regulatory affairs to drive business growth and reputation management.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive public affairs and communications strategies that align with our clients' business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry leaders, and media representatives.
  • Manage and mentor a team of public affairs and communications professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging issues that impact our clients' businesses.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in public policy and regulatory affairs, with a strong track record of success in a similar role.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials and industry leaders.
  • Strong understanding of the Ontario provincial and municipal governments, as well as provincial agencies and organizations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
