Job Title: Handler, Materials

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Handler, Materials to join our team at Advance Trucking Solutions Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth movement of materials and products within our distribution center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload materials and products from trucks, trailers, and other equipment.
  • Material Handling: Move materials and products within the distribution center using hand trucks, dollies, and other equipment.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure that materials and products are properly stored and secured.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Assist with the preparation and shipment of materials and products, as well as the receipt and processing of incoming shipments.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of equipment, including reach trucks, loaders, and other material handling equipment.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Collaborative, efficient, energetic, goal-oriented, hardworking, integrity, positive attitude, proactive, quick learner, time management, dependability, reliability, and team player.
Work Environment:

Our distribution center is a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a variety of tasks and responsibilities. You will be working in a confined space with dusty, hot, and noisy conditions. You will also be required to work in an urban area and may be exposed to wet/damp conditions.
