Human Resources Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Human Resources Intern to join our team at BMW Group Canada. As an HR Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR department, including recruitment and onboarding, general administration, and developing internal communications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating onboarding activities
  • Prepare written communications and internal documents for distribution to associates
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of HR initiatives
  • Assist with planning and executing employee engagement activities, such as team-building events and recognition programs
  • Coordinate HR-related training and development programs
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including preparing reports and responding to general inquiries
Requirements:
  • Enrolled in or recently completed a degree or diploma majoring in Human Resources
  • Minimum 1 year work experience in a professional setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with associates at all levels
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality
