Job Summary
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a highly skilled Cardiology Technologist to join the Electrocardiography team at Lions Gate Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting various cardiac diagnostic tests, analyzing results, and summarizing findings for medical staff in an urgent/emergent care environment.
About the Role
This position requires a strong understanding of electrocardiogram (ECG) testing, stress testing, and Holter monitoring. As a Cardiology Technologist, you will work closely with medical staff to provide accurate and timely diagnoses, ensuring patients receive optimal care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct ECG tests, standard and nuclear stress testing, and Holter monitoring as required;
- Analyze test results and summarize findings for interpretation by medical staff;
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to patient testing and diagnoses.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- Diploma in Cardiology Technology or equivalent education and experience;
- Recent experience in a related field, preferably in a hospital setting;
- Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologist (CSCT) certification and eligibility for membership with the Cardiology Technologist Association of British Columbia (CTABC).
