Financial Services with the Canadian Armed Forces

Canadian Armed Forces employs Financial Services Administrators at CAF bases in Canada, on ships, and overseas. They may also serve in special operation units, medical organizations, and other specialized units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial administration and services
  • General office bookkeeping
  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable support
  • Budget management services

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Canadian citizenship
  • Minimum age of 18 (17 with parental consent)
  • Completion of Grade 10 or Secondary IV in Quebec

Training and Development:

  • Basic Military Qualification course
  • Canadian Forces Logistics Training Centre in Borden, Ontario
  • Financial Services Administrator training

Education and Skills:

  • Grade 10 Applied Math and Grade 10 English or French
  • Financial authority, regulations, and structure knowledge

Employment Opportunities:

  • Regular Force or Primary Reserve Force of the Canadian Armed Forces
