Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Northern Lakes College. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for the recruitment and selection of staff, as well as providing support for onboarding and retention initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit and select qualified candidates for various positions within the College
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to create job descriptions and interview questions
  • Conduct interviews and make recommendations for hiring decisions
  • Provide support for onboarding new employees, including orientation and training
  • Develop and maintain relationships with employees and management to promote a positive work environment
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Human Resource Administration or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in HR, preferably in a unionized environment
  • Registered Professional Recruiter designation an asset
  • Clean Criminal Record and valid Class 5 Driver's License
