Job Title: Human Resources Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Supervisor to join our team at Jordan & Neil M Enterprises.

Job Summary:

The Human Resources Supervisor will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies and programs. This includes advising managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements. The successful candidate will also mediate labour disputes and grievances, administer benefit employment equity and other human resources programs, and co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs
  • Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements
  • Mediate labour disputes and grievances
  • Administer benefit employment equity and other human resources programs
  • Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs
  • Manage training and development strategies
  • Oversee the analysis of employee data and information
  • Hire, train, and supervise staff
Support for Newcomers and Refugees:

The Human Resources Supervisor will be responsible for recruiting newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster. This includes developing and maintaining relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.

Support for Indigenous People:

The Human Resources Supervisor will apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities. This includes anonymizing the hiring process and ensuring that all employees are treated fairly and with respect.

Work Setting:

The Human Resources Supervisor will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service to employees and management.

Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in human resources
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 30 hours per week
