Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Establish work schedules
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service management
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
Work Environment:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of 5-10 people. The successful candidate will be required to work under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

The Food Service Supervisor will work 30 to 40 hours per week.
