About the Role

Chief Carriers is seeking experienced Over-the-Road Drivers to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination over long distances, typically 500-1000 miles per day
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments and deliveries
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles
  • Comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including hours of service and safety regulations

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months over-the-road experience
  • Must have Class A CDL
  • Minimum of 23 years old
  • Good driving record
  • No DUI/DWI or drug conviction in the last 5 years
