Job Title: Truck Driver

Roga Contracting Ltd. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for safely operating a variety of trucks and trailers to transport goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy to transport goods and materials
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods
  • Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods
  • Process bills of lading, cargo manifests or other documents
  • Plan trips
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's licence
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
