We're currently seeking a highly skilled Collision Repair Estimator to join our team at Craftsman Collision in Williams Lake, BC. As an experienced professional, you'll be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and sales while working closely with the front office team.

With a strong understanding of insurance policies and procedures, you'll be able to navigate the claims process with ease. Your excellent verbal and written communication skills will enable you to educate customers on their repair options and provide clear, accurate process steps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides exceptional customer service and resolves service concerns in a professional manner

  • Interacts with customers in a friendly and approachable manner
  • Educates customers on claims and repair processes
  • Books estimate appointments over the phone when necessary
  • Provides prompt service to all walk-in customers
  • Inspects and reviews vehicles for damage to provide accurate estimates
  • Utilizes industry-standard software to prepare estimates

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Experience with Mitchell Estimating, Audatex, and ALLDATA software (asset)
  • Strong understanding of insurance policies and procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-centric attitude
