Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Traffic Clerk to join our team at Lineage Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods and ensuring the smooth flow of our warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with drivers and warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of shipments
- Compile and maintain records of inbound and outbound shipments, including tracking and verifying product quantities
- Plan and direct driver assignments, including checking them in and out, and verifying load completion
- Serve as the first point of contact for delivery drivers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
- May receive, count, and log cash received by carriers, and coordinate with warehouse and transportation teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of shipping and receiving documents
- Verify and count products to confirm data accuracy in our system, and notify carriers and team members of pending, no-shows, and unscheduled arrivals
- Engage with drivers and reschedule appointments as needed, and enter data into our warehouse management system (WMS) scheduler
Requirements
- Basic math skills may be required at some facilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with internal and external customers
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites, while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
- May be required to lift a minimum of 20 lbs./9 kgs., with weight dependent on facility
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
- Must be comfortable with various noise levels, which can be loud at times
