Logistics Coordinator

As a Traffic Clerk at Lineage Logistics, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution centers. Your primary responsibility will be to compile and maintain accurate records of inbound and outbound shipments, while also planning and directing driver assignments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for delivery drivers, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Receive, count, and log cash received by carriers, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Coordinate with warehouse and transportation teams to ensure shipping and receiving documents are completed accurately and on time.
- Verify and count products to confirm data accuracy in our system.
- Notify carriers and key team members of pending, no-shows, and unscheduled arrivals, ensuring seamless communication and resolution.
- Engage with drivers and reschedule appointments as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Enter data into our warehouse management system (WMS) scheduler, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
Additional Requirements:
- Basic math skills may be required at some facilities, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with internal and external customers, including English language proficiency.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety and efficiency, while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
- May be required to lift a minimum of 20 lbs./9 kgs., with weight varying depending on facility.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, with a focus on meeting business needs and deadlines.
