The estimated annual salary for this position is $83,000 - $110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Lead Care Coordinator. This role will provide leadership and guidance to nursing and personal care staff in the provision of resident care and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical guidance and oversight to nursing and personal care staff
  • Develop and implement resident care plans in conjunction with the interdisciplinary care team
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of resident care and services
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives to improve resident outcomes

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A current certificate of competency from the College of Nurses of Ontario, in good standing
  • Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Experience in Long-Term Care, preferably in a leadership or supervisory capacity
  • Strong written and oral communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to delegate tasks effectively to unregulated care providers
