About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at ONTARIO INC. As a Construction Estimator, you will play a key role in preparing estimates of labour and/or material costs, reading blueprints, and operating CADD and other computer software systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Operate computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software
  • Prepare and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bids forms
  • Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in construction estimating
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proactive and organized with a client-focused approach
