Job Description

St. John’s Riverside Hospital is a leading healthcare provider in the Westchester community, known for its commitment to delivering high-quality care and advancing medical technology.

We are seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Associate to join our team and support the operations of our revenue cycle process. As a key member of our revenue team, you will collaborate with us to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in services and practices that promote positive financial performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist and support the operations of the revenue cycle process, including credentialing, pre-authorization, and billing
  • Flex between roles to assist with tasks in various areas, as assigned
  • Implement charge capture/billing processes to optimize revenue and provide timely and accurate retrieval of information for outsourcing to the billing company
  • Collaborate with providers regarding accurate documentation to promote timely billing
  • Review outstanding pending cases to assess for accuracy, missing information, and edits, ensuring proper documentation is retrieved and sent for required billing and review
Qualifications:
  • Three years of experience in a medical office setting, with a focus on revenue activities
  • Associate Degree or Medical Coding Certificate preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience in customer service in a medical setting required
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is around $55,000 to $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
