About the Role

The Digital Production Director leads the development of new mobile games set in the Sago Mini universe and products on partner platforms. This role involves delivering high-quality games and products on time and within budget, while ensuring that the player experience is best-in-class, particularly for young audiences.

  • Have extensive experience as a game production manager, with key roles in shipping multiple titles for mobile, PC, and/or console.
  • Possess a passion for creating beautiful games that enrich and delight players, with a focus on kid-friendly experiences.
  • Are detail-oriented and enjoy taking ownership in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Bring enthusiasm to build games that improve the lives of children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the overall organization and execution of projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
  • Manage stakeholders by providing regular project updates and identifying production risks.
  • Collaborate with the team to establish and manage sprints, retros, and other rituals to drive productivity and improvement.
  • Identify and fill skill gaps within the team, promoting a culture of learning and growth.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of video game production experience, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
  • Production experience on multiple shipped titles, with expertise in game development lifecycles from concept to shipping and live ops.
  • Able to break down complex tasks into discrete components, drawing on experience to external expertise as needed.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to distill and share information effectively.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience
