Job Overview

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment for children and teens in our Kids Drop-In Centre and Multi-Purpose gymnasium.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce rules and regulations to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all participants.
  • Develop and implement engaging activities and programs for children and teens, promoting physical activity, socialization, and teamwork.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to Club members, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with the Aquatics & Recreation Manager to plan and execute special events and programs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children and teens in a sports and activity setting.
  • Knowledge of various sports and games, including basic technical skills and rules.
  • Current CPR/First Aid Certification and recent Vulnerable Sector Screening.
  • Ability to work effectively without supervision and remain fully engaged while working with youth and teens.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
