Portfolio Management and Operations Executive

About the RoleWe're seeking a Portfolio Management and Operations Executive to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting the Natural Resources asset class by providing portfolio reporting and data management.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and investments, with experience in portfolio management and operations. They should be highly proficient in Office Suite, especially Excel, and have knowledge of iLevel and efront. Advanced programming skills, such as SQL or Python, are also an asset.
Key Responsibilities- Recommend and implement improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and productivity of reporting by leveraging various IT applications.
- Create reporting models and dashboards to facilitate consistent portfolio reporting and meet investment team requirements.
- Design and analyze quality portfolio management and asset management reports (performance, deployment, commitment, forecasting).
- Assist in data validation and migration for system implementations.
- Compile investment data for ad hoc requests from the Investment team and Business Groups.
- Lead the evolution of the iLevel platform and monitor industry best practices.
- Oversee data collection process (internal and external) and ensure timely update of data metrics as well as collaborate with investment team to identify and define relevant data metrics.
- Ensure quality and completeness of portfolio and investment level data.
- Implement controls, documentation, and develop tools related to sound data management.
- Support Corporate initiatives with regards to data acquisition (such as ESG) and integration in other PSP systems.
- Coordinate collaboration with IT teams to facilitate results and efficiency gains.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, computer science, or equivalent.
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to navigate in a fast-pace environment with a high level of autonomy.
- Highly organized and multitasking skills.
- Good communications skills in English and French (or willingness to learn).
$80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
