Job Summary

Eli Lilly and Company is seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison to serve as a scientific resource for Canadian experts in the field of Gastroenterology and related autoimmune disorders.

This role will involve providing cutting-edge scientific information from the medical community, gathering feedback and insight from Scientific Experts and Thought Leaders, and facilitating scientific exchange between the academic community and Eli Lilly.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have advanced knowledge of immunology/autoimmune disorders, excellent presentation skills, and strong project management abilities. A proven track record of professional networking and experience in a similar role would be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a scientific resource for Canadian experts in the field of Gastroenterology and related autoimmune disorders.
  • Provide cutting-edge scientific information from the medical community.
  • Gather feedback and insight from Scientific Experts and Thought Leaders.
  • Facilitate scientific exchange between the academic community and Eli Lilly.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree in health sciences (PhD, MD, Pharm D) with 2-3 years of relevant clinical or therapeutic experience in Dermatology.
  • MSc in health care/professional designation (BScN, PT, RD etc.).
  • Intellectual curiosity and intelligence about the field of immunology/autoimmune disorders.
  • Ability to critically appraise scientific information/literature.
  • Strong presentation skills including the ability to comprehend large amounts of scientific content.
  • Familiarity with the academic community and medical research.
  • Experience in professional networking with positive mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Strong project management skills with an ability to work within teams.
Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus benefits and bonuses.
