Job Title: Retail Counter Clerk
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Counter Clerk to join our team at Canada Post Corp. As a Retail Counter Clerk, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers, processing transactions, and maintaining a high level of postal products and services knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Transaction Processing: Process financial transactions, including cash, cheques, debit, and credit card payments, accurately and efficiently.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a high level of knowledge about our postal products and services, including rates, services, and promotions.
- Mail Handling: Receive, sort, and sequence mail items, and exercise physical effort in the handling of mail items weighing up to 22.7 kilograms (50 pounds).
- Merchandising and Inventory Control: Maintain floor displays and conduct merchandising and inventory control activities to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Customer Service Experience: Experience in customer service in a retail environment is required.
- Sales Experience: Sales experience is an asset.
