Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Parts Counter Clerk to join our team at Freightliner North Bay. As a key member of our sales and service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering phone calls, and responding to customer inquiries
  • Manage inventory, including receiving, unpacking, and sorting incoming parts and supplies
  • Process sales transactions, handle cash, and maintain accurate records
  • Prepare and track work orders, requisition orders, and maintain inventory control systems
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective workflow
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client satisfaction
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
