The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

We are seeking an Assistant General Manager for Red's Wine Tavern who will assist the General Manager in creating a one-of-a-kind dining experience that combines great service with culinary quality and excellence. The ideal candidate will inspire team members to be the best and continue to achieve industry-wide recognition for meeting the tastes and needs of our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the General Manager in achieving sales growth and success by implementing effective strategies and tactics.
  • Consistently provide our guests with an outstanding experience by adhering to our standards of quality and service.
  • Help the General Manager coach and lead our team members and ensure they receive great training and support.
  • Manage the financials and work to achieve and exceed established goals.
  • Livethe Service Inspired Values and Promises.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree or Diploma in Culinary or Hospitality Management (asset).
  • Minimum 2-3 years of management experience at a high-level hospitality environment.
  • MUST have Smart Serve and Food Handler's certification.
  • Strong attention to detail, proactivity, assertiveness, and sense of urgency in driving to reach goals.
  • Risk-taker and someone who focuses on future goals.
  • Ability to operate with flexibility.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits (asset).
