Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team at Michael Page International Canada Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with business objectives.
  • Estimate resource requirements and personnel needed to achieve project goals, and develop budget proposals and recommendations for subsequent budget changes.
  • Assess the need for additional staff and/or consultants, and liaise with department managers to acquire required personnel.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path, and plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-10 years of relevant local Canadian experience in construction project management, with a focus on ICI projects valued up to $20-30MM.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple large construction contracts involving consultants, construction firms, and general contractors.
  • Design Build background and solid experience in preparing and administering consulting and construction agreements.
  • Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and other relevant laws and regulations.
