Business Development Representative

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team at Western Financial Group. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for driving new business and sales growth through pipeline leads and sales qualifying calls.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize internal databases to pipeline leads and drive new business
- Contact approximately 100 leads per day for sales qualifying calls before passing qualified leads on to the next stage of the sales process
- Collect client information to ensure their eligibility for various programs and document carefully to ensure a smooth transition to the Sales Representatives
- Contribute to overall strategy by providing status updates to leadership regarding wins/challenges and opportunities for growth
- Navigate multiple insurance partner online portals to complete customer applications
- Meet and exceed sales and retention targets
- Collaborate with insurance company Underwriters to ensure evolving guidelines are met
- Liaise between client and external insurance partners to ensure fair and proper representation for both parties
- Continuous self-development, through industry and community involvement, and industry-related courses
