Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dental Office Coordinator to join our team at Queen Chinguacousy Dentistry. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating patient appointments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office.

About the Role
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in a medical or dental setting is an asset, but not required. We offer comprehensive training to ensure your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring timely arrival and departure of patients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic information, medical history, and treatment plans.
  • Process and manage insurance claims, ensuring prompt payment and minimizing delays.
  • Order supplies and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient operations.
  • Prepare and distribute reports, documents, and correspondence as needed.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., business, healthcare) is considered an asset.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, dentists, and other staff members.
