Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Hotel Operations Supervisor to join our team at SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Salmon Arm. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless hotel operations.
    • Establish and implement work schedules and procedures to maximize efficiency and productivity.
    • Perform same duties as workers supervised to maintain a hands-on approach and provide guidance.
    • Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Guest Services and Experience
    • Assist clients/guests with special needs to provide exceptional customer service.
    • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Operations and Maintenance
    • Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, machinery, and arrange repair work to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
    • Requisition materials and supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory.
  • Performance Monitoring and Improvement
    • Prepare and submit reports to track key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement.
    • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
    Requirements
    • Education and Experience
      • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
      • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
    • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
      • Attention to detail.

      • Standing for extended periods.
      • Tight deadlines.
      • Work under pressure.
    • Language and Work Schedule
