Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Operations Supervisor to join our team at SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Salmon Arm. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Coordinate and manage the day-to-day activities of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent service to our guests.
  • Guest Services: Assist guests with special needs, resolve issues, and provide technical advice to ensure their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports on hotel performance, guest feedback, and staff productivity.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition materials and supplies to maintain optimal levels and ensure business continuity.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of computer systems, equipment, and machinery to prevent downtime and ensure customer service delivery.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, large workload, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
