Project Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Project Coordinator to join our team at TalentSphere Staffing Solutions. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in coordinating commercial construction projects, with excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual who wants to expand their skill set and eventually become a Project Manager. As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating and overseeing document control for the construction team
  • Developing and managing schedules, tracking costs, and submitting permits
  • Communicating between office and site, leading smaller projects, and monitoring costs
  • Assisting in tendering, negotiating, and preparing subcontracts and purchase orders
  • Ongoing monitoring, document control, and processing of plans, specifications, shop drawings, and other submittals
  • Reviewing, acting, and responding to daily project correspondence
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of experience in residential or commercial project coordination, supporting Project Managers
  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills
  • First-class communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • A professional, hard-working, and willing attitude
  • A degree or diploma in a construction-related field (ideal)
  • PMP designation or working towards (ideal)
  • Familiarity with construction methods and building codes
  • Proficient in MS Project, Word, Excel, and Visio
  • A driver's license
