Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to work on a casual relief basis. As an Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing medical imaging procedures, operating and maintaining equipment, and providing excellent patient care.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

  • Perform a variety of medical imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and other diagnostic tests
  • Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, ensuring it is functioning properly and efficiently
  • Prepare and document patient records, including exam results and reports
  • Participate in educational programs, quality improvement initiatives, and research projects

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate of Registration in the specialty of Radiography from the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
  • Completion of a Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification program, Level II: Basic Rescuer certification
  • An accredited degree or post-diploma Radiological Technology program, or recognized equivalent
