Medical Radiation Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Medical Radiation Technologist to join our team at Sinai Health System. As a Casual Relief position, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with cutting-edge technologies and diverse patient populations.

This role offers a unique blend of routine X-rays and specialized imaging procedures, allowing you to expand your skill set and advance your career in medical imaging. With rotations through General Radiography, Emergency Department, and Portables, every day brings new challenges and learning opportunities.

About the Role

  • Perform medical imaging procedures using state-of-the-art equipment
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain medical imaging and ancillary equipment
  • Prepare written and electronic reports documenting all procedures and test results
  • Participate in teaching, educational, research, safety, and quality improvement programs/activities
  • Provide excellent patient care and support

Requirements

  • Certificate of registration in the specialty of Radiography from the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
  • Current Registration with College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists on Ontario (CMRITO)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification program
  • Completion of an accredited degree/post diploma Radiological Technology program or recognized equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Level 1 and Level 2 CT experience
  • Membership with the CAMRT
  • CR and Digital Radiography experience

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications. Sinai Health System offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as retirement savings plans and paid time off.
