Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, handle, and serve food to residents and visitors in accordance with established standards, departmental procedures, and time schedules.
  • Clean kitchen equipment, floors, and walls, operate the dishwasher and other machines, and porter the hot food carts.
  • Work closely with seniors and/or physically/mentally challenged individuals and within the value system of St. Michael's Health Group.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma is preferred.
  • Food Safe Handling course is preferred.
  • Experience in food service or the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Food service or related hospitality courses are an asset.
