Legal Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join our team at Ann Arbour Consultants Inc.
Job Summary:The Legal Secretary will provide administrative support to our legal team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office and the delivery of high-quality legal services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and court sessions, ensuring timely and efficient communication with clients and stakeholders.
- Document Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems, record and prepare minutes of meetings and court sessions, and prepare financial statements and reports.
- Correspondence and Communication: Prepare and key in correspondence and legal documents, review and proofread documents to ensure compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage.
- Administrative Support: Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, prepare proposals, and document work completed.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a legal administrative role.
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and strong organizational skills.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced legal environment, requiring strong time management and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines and handle a large caseload.
