Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Danleigh Gift Shop. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train sales staff to meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Manage store inventory, including ordering and receiving merchandise
  • Authorize returns and exchanges, and resolve customer complaints in a fair and timely manner
  • Establish and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Monitor and control store expenses, including cash handling and inventory management
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve sales goals and implement store promotions
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of retail management experience
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset
Work Environment
