Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Health Care Aide to join our team at Bethany Sylvan Lake. As a Health Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing resident-centered care, promoting service excellence, and contributing to a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide resident-centered care, promoting service excellence and responding to residents' needs in accordance with care plans, policies, and procedures.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, maintaining their privacy and dignity.
- Accurately and comprehensively document and report care and related observations to the Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in a timely manner.
- Monitor and document residents' holistic needs, including physical, psychological, spiritual, social, and emotional well-being.
- Contribute to a safe environment by understanding and adhering to safety guidelines and practices.
- Demonstrate a commitment to teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Grade 10 education and a Government of Alberta approved Health Care Aide certificate.
- Previous Health Care Aide experience is preferred but not required.
- The ability to work effectively in a physically and mentally demanding environment.
- Excellent observation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
