Job Title: Restaurant Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Pho Boi Restaurant Mayfair Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring the smooth running of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, including staff management, customer service, and inventory control.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and staff performance.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff members.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Participate in marketing and promotional activities to increase sales and revenue.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best possible prices and services.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new menu items and promotions.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field an asset.
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and deadlines. The ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity is essential.

Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Environment:

The restaurant is located in an urban area with public transportation available.
