About the Opportunity

Valeo Pharma, a pioneering specialty pharmaceutical company, is seeking an experienced Pharmaceutical Sales Professional to join our dynamic team in the Kitchener/Hamilton/Niagara area.

This exciting role involves developing business relationships with General Practitioners (GPs), Specialists, and other healthcare providers in a community setting. You will assist in executing brand plans that support the growth and profitability of our brands while working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales targets through efficient sales planning and territory management;
  • Develop and maintain a sales plan for the territory using our CRM system;
  • Implement the assigned sales plan to formulate effective client call strategies to maximize opportunities in the territory;
  • Seek out new promotional opportunities to drive sales and raise brand awareness;
  • Conduct sales calls on GPs, Specialists, clinics within the territory to promote and sell products;
  • Ensure customers' scientific and business needs are met and build productive customer relationships;
  • Engage in dialogue with customers to determine patients' needs and determine how our products could meet those needs;
  • Assist in sales planning, sales strategies, and territorial coverage;
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and yearly analysis of the territory;
  • Develop tactics and strategies to develop long-term commitment and relationships with current and potential customers;
  • Assist in developing and executing operational marketing plans that will support business objectives.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative, preferably in Respiratory;
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively;
  • High energy, self-motivated, and results-oriented individual;
  • Ability to learn technical and product-related materials to conduct product training and communicate promotional materials and selling tools;
  • Valid driver's license and comfortable with cold calling and prospecting.
